Recently there was buzz on the internet that HTC might be planning to make comeback in the tablet segment . Now an HTC tablet codenamed Vertex has surfaced on Nenamark database .
According to the benchmark , the tablet is powered by Nvidia's Tegra 3 quad-core processor with a clock speed of 1.3GHz , its running Android 4.0.3 in the tests but since this is prototype benchmark, it might ship with Jelly Bean . The screen has resolution of 1280x752 in the benchmark . According to slashgear, the device will have 10.1 inch display .
So its quite possible that HTC might be planning to target the Google Nexus 7 with their budget 10.1 inch offering .However, there has been official statement about the tablet and its launch yet .
