My AV Reciever doesnt support HDMI , so i can use only SPDIF as audio input.

Thanks,

but the mobo you suggested doesnt have SPDIF output at back panel connector, but i need it for HTPC. Also, I already own seagate 500GB hard disk, so i can save 3.7k...Any other suggestion for mobo

Finally I build the system with follownig configuration


1. Processor - AMD FX 6100 - 7500
2. Motherboard - ASUS M5A97 R.2 - 6500
3. RAM - Transcend 8GB DDR3 1600MHZ - 2450
4. Graphics Card - ASUS HD7770 1GB DDR5 - 9500
5. PSU - Corsair CX 600W v2 - 4000
6. Cabinet - Cooler Master Elit 370 - 2500

Total Damage - 32450

I had some old external hard disk, i removed the hard disk from the encloser and using it as internal hard disk for my build.
I have no PC building experience, but i successfully done it referring motherboard manual and some online videos.

Played Crysis 2 - no lag and external graphical output....So far, I am liking my build...
