Hi Guys,

Is there any FREE HTTP Tunneling software, which has a proxy authentication modulle which can be used to bypass network filtering (websense)...
Earlier freegate used to do the job, but its not free to world users anymore(except china :( )

i used to use this in college to bypass the firewall... it's called your-freedom. there's a paid premium service, and a free service that limits your speed or connections or something like that

A rudimentary service is available for free. It will provide a bit more bandwidth than a modem connection and up to six hours of usage per day (up to 18 hours per week), and will probably be enough for all casual users -- it's certainly enough to visit blocked web pages and join chats, and if it suits your needs you are welcome to use it as much as you like.

hmmm yeah...i've read about your freedom...and u'r right free service is crappy...so any others?
i've tried ultrasurf...but sadly it dosen't allow proxy authentication...
 
why not go for vpn service i use swissvpn costs me $5 pm and i use it for rapidshare too....

note: when i use it with rapidshare my collage net speed goes down to 5 to 10 KBps while i get 400-500KBps :)
 
Use "your-freedom". We use it all the time in iit kgp to download torrents.

If there's an application which needs direct connection to the internet to work or if it does not have options for setting the proxy then you can either use openvpn which makes everything work as if your pc is directly connected to the web or you can use proxycap to force it to use a proxy. Refer to the guides in the your-freedom website for more details.
