Huawei has unveiled the Ascend P2 smartphone which has leaked several times previously. It calls it "world's fastest smartphone", thanks to the super fast 4G LTE speeds up to 150Mbps.
The Ascend P2 is not as slim as rumored previously, it is 8.4mm thick and packs 4.7inch display with HD 720p IPS display ( not full HD as rumored ) which has 2nd gen Gorilla Glass on top.
It has Quick Power Control (QPC) and Automated Discontinuous Reception (ADRX) power-saving technologies, which are said to reduce power consumption and charging time by more than 25% compared to other smartphones.
Coming to the specs, it runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Os out of the box with Emotion UI 1.5. It has 1.5GHz Quad-core processor , 1GB of RAM and 16GB storage.
The camera is 13MP with BSI sensor on back with Autofocus and LED flash, it can also capture HDR videos and images and has dedicated shutter key. There is 1.3MP front facing camera also.
Connectivity options include 3G with HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. It has 2420 mAh battery.
