Android Huawei Ascend Y300 - Quick Thoughts

Been looking for a phone for my wife for a couple of months, and almost bought the Samsung Grand. She didn't like the size nor th price. Her only use is calls, occasional messaging and lots of music thru a stereo BT headset.

Wanted JB out of the box, and the Galaxy Young seemed to fit the bill. About to order on Flipkart and came across this Huawei, and ordered it instead.

Very very pleasantly surprised. It is as snappy as my S2, screen is decent and JB runs smoothly. I think it's a great phone for the price. Battery life is great too.

Just putting this out there for others looking for some budget Android handset.
 
Its a nice phone and has some custom Roms too, enjoy. Its a good purchase.
I wanted to buy this phone myself but backed out due to its 512MB ram and a5 Processor, but i've heard the Battery life and movie viewing is superb.
 
I think that for basic calls/sms/music that RAM is OK. That's why I went with it, and it's pretty snappy for all that as well as browsing etc.
