Huawei has introduced a gesture-based file transfer feature, allowing users to send files between devices by performing specific hand gestures.

This technology, expected to be available on HarmonyOS Next devices like the Mate X6 and Mate 70 series, simplifies data sharing without physical contact.

Personally i do avoid chinese stuff these days but credit where due, this brand is mostly only Android based (non apple) brand which actually innovates and spends on RnD

No problem, I think the actual news link is this. I couldn't go to the main news from that comments section. weird how that site is designed.

Yeah looks like it

thanks for sharing and also helping me with the rules of the forum _/\_

I saw the video and the video cuts make it look fake. No way it's going to work like that from one phone to another tablet on a table far away using gestures. Personal opinion though.

I mean may not be exactly as is

But if it accomplishes what it claims even at 70% accuracy be Iron man kinda stuff (Considering it gets perfect in next 3 or 4 iterations)

and the point of mine was also that Huawei is the only brand in Android who does real innovation and spend ton on RnD unlike Samsung and others who copy paste stuff from Apple/Huawei

Pretty sure it will work. Once Huawei got kicked out of google they got some pretty cool features which are not available on normal google android phones.

This shows some of the features if you have multiple Huawei devices. Link starts at 2:06 when he starts showing some of those features..

Correction

Even before that they were pioneers of many things esp the 100/120x zoom

Their RnD spends are huge

Agreed. Part of reason why I had a Mate 10 pro but had to get a Samsung as I was right in the middle when Huawei was kicked out. Had to get a Samsung as many apps stopped working. Later on after a few years the phone became functional again and my Dad is still using it now. Google store works fine now on it without any issues.

I mean if it didnt have privacy concerns (may be am paranoid)

I would start using them tbh
Looks kinda lame, might as well use a common/cloud storage without the added gimmicks.
