Hey guys,
I bought this 1KVA UPS sometime around 25th October.
The first time, i charged it for 10 hrs. Then started using it and the first power cut - the PC reboots. So, didn't try anything and was so pissed off that i raised a complain with Microtek.
The service was prompt and the service guy came in the next day, tried stuff and everything working fine. But then again after he goes off, i try switching off the power and the PC now shuts down.
Thereafter follows a series of 5 complaints with 8 engineer visits, MOSFET blast inside UPS, 3 new replacement 1KVA UPS, entire PCB change, diodes changed from New Delhi Service Centre, but at the end the UPS is still having the problem.
The PC just shuts down when the power is switched off. And this is not everytime. Its random. Sometimes it does and sometimes not.
I also have a APC 500VA, which works absolutely fine 24x7. Just dat it does not give backup & is out of warranty. I also have no idea how this 300W UPS is handling my 400W system with so much ease?
Can anybody in TE give some inputs to resolve this issue? Anybody in TE - Newbies, Experienced members, moderators or MOTMs or anyone  Please help me
