Huwaei HG630a to TPLink 1043ND connection

I moved to airtel recently and these guys gave me this Huawei HG630a WiFi Router. Its a reasonably good monitor and works to get me connected to the internet. However, the settings options are severely limited.

I've my NAS connected to the router and I wish to stream a lot of 4K content to my TV (which also is connected to the router). Since this router doesn't support gigabit connection, all I see is loads of disappointment. Additionally, few basic features like IP-MAC binding is missing, which hurts my home networking needs.

Could I not connect this router to my TPLink so that all the stuff is managed by the TPLink and only internet access is fetched from the Huwaei?

I am not an expert with networking so looking at some advice here.

router provided by Airtel is not only crippled but insecure as well.
turn off the WLAN in huwai, connect the output form huwai to your tp link WAN input port and use as usual ( huwai should only serves as a modem like the previous beetle modems they provided )
