I have tried complaining here

I am a subscriber of 5 Network (Five Network Solutions India Ltd )

In the first month I paid Rs 475 for a 256Kbps unlimited connection and I was enjoying the committed speeds.

After I renewed for the second month, I notice that I was getting speeds averaging 128Kbps and on a rare occasion it would touch 152Kbps. The irony is that from five network increased their tariff from 475 - 550 for that month.

Download 0.32 Mbps

Upload 0.30 Mbps

Now I am getting

Download 0.18 Mbps

Upload 0.12 Mbps

I know a close friend using 5 network in a different part of the city, he is getting not more than 1.3 - 1.4Mbps on his 2Mbps Unlimited connection.

If there are more disgruntled subscribers, please support me.

everythin was fine until yesterday night....

dnload speeds were as usual for me 40-50 kBps..for 384 kbps unlimited package.

the speeds on the lan were good too..and i used to get arnd 4-5 mbps speeds from movieman and high definition...

only today the speeds were very low .......200-300 kbps from movieman..

guess tht was a problem wid everyone today..

and the hub is down right now....i think they are repairing it..

btw whts ur nick on dc abby....am Notorious_M

the internet speeds are good though

my ID on dc is abbY, I get an error when I connect to the DC hub Your ISP/IP isn't allowed on this hub, allowed ISPs are: fivehub, I don't know why ? I used to be able to connect till I renewed my account. Does anybody know how to fix this problem.

I get the same error when I try to connect to either of 174.142.41.65 / 10.20.30.100

Secondly I have noticed that now I am getting a dynamic ip in the range 180.x.x.x, last month it was 58.x.x.x

im assuming that your local ISP is just reselling 5net bandwidth to you as per his convenience without actually being clear with both you and 5net. try contacting 5net directly regarding the issue.

dude is it true that 5 net has its own hub???with manyy users and can get a speed upto 3 mbs..... how many users are there in that hubs??? i thinking to take it bcoz of da hub???

do you get da latestz stuff??? does it has any problm??

5net is no longer the same provider they are clearly over capacity the speeds are awful although the prices are the cheapest in the market unless they upgrade their cables im afriad they are going to lose consumers..

Five net does have its exclusive hubm share size ranges from 25TB-50TB. U get lotsa stuff in there, but 5net speeds suck so I am backing outta it.
