I am unable to download attachments from Gmail

Please help. I am unable to download attachments received in my Gmail account. All was fine until last week. Please it is very important that this be corrected.

EDIT:

FYI:-

-No antivirus or internet security installed, No prob with the firewall settings.

-i have tried FF, chrome and IE9.

-tried clearing your browser cache.

-It works fine in other computers.

still no luck :(
 
As a workaround did you try forwarding those mails to someother account and download it from there?

Check you gmail inbox size, Anti virus setting also try downloading from a different m/c or browser

And i have tried forwarding those mail to my friends id...still no luck..:(
It works fine in other computers.
 
Do you have any kind of download manager, if yes, then try to download without it, also try a different browser
 
Did you try clearing your browser cache?

You can do so manually or by softwares like CCleaner.

Also which Antivirus or Internet Security application are you using?

You should also check any recent applications or softwares that you have installed.
 
Actually what happens when you click on Download?

Does it happen with only Gmail attachments or other downloads as well?

If only with Gmail, then it may be an incompatibility issue with any recently installed software.

Also try disabling the browser integration of any download manager, if you have one.
