Hi, I'm a 17yr old pc enthusiastic who loves low balling the hell out of people, but recently ive sold my rx570 but I feel that I've over changed him and I feel so bad and I wanna know how much would you guys pay for a rx570

I would have paid around 3000-3500 at most if I was looking for a GPU (4GB VRAM) like that.
But even if he paid a lot more - and it allows him to enjoy games he couldn't before - does that make the GPU worth less?

asking question at wrong place, here on TE where 90% selling their old hardware at premium using various fancy titles to attract innocent NEW buyers and waiting even 3-4 months to trap ... !!!
If you really feel bad just recharge your buyer's mobile of excess amount you think you charge from .... simple and came out of guilt and have good sound sleep

some people are rather reasonable and have offered great deals on TE.

Unless you sold the RX570 for an absurd amount of money like 10k INR its okay. Difference of 1-2k for tech products is no issue because there are many factors involving. Even the worst graphics cards have a baseline value of 1-2k just for being a display output card and RX570 being a 4GB VRAM card can do much more than that. Unless we know exactly how much you sold it for we can't say for sure you did something wrong. To be honest if you are making a thread like this you should have put the sold value in the thread.

I don't think that's a fair description of the marketplace, unless it was just meant as a joke. If anything, I think the majority of deals are fair since everyone is knowledgeable, and some rare deals are absolute steals. There are a handful of people or individual threads with overpriced items, but I've usually seen their listings being ignored (or them being called out) and the items being unsold. I'm sure there are occasional slips, but I trust TE more than a lot of alternatives like olx/fb marketplace.

He's exaggerating a bit. You summed it up when you said it's a bit of both good and bad deals. It's that good deals rarely stay up for long for us to notice which is why what we usually see is okayish/fair to meh ones and yes I would trust a deal on TE any day compared to OLX. Even with a face-to-face deal on OLX you can never imagine how you can get tricked.

Price is what you pay
Value is what you get

So, the buyer may have more value for it than you think and hence was willing to pay more

the post itself cover and make it up. you can also refund if you think it is unfair. I always price my products higher compare to others because i take care of them more and they look newer. if i don't feel it, i don't sell it.
