just when i was surfing on 1 site i came across the classic cartoons which i used to see when i was a kid so i thought of a thread for that.
As we were growing TV was d only source of entertainmen for many of us , there were many things we say like in caroon network or doordarshan etc,
so this thread is dedicated for that ,
every 1 of has some or the other favorite serial that if we see now also it feels good ,

hey wat about the cartoons also ,

the jetsons .it was a amazing cartoon very much ahead of time it was released in somewhere around 1967 it such nice thoughts at that time ,

 
A lot of what is mentioned above including Byomkesh Bakshi, Jungle Book, Talespin, Chitrahar, Rangoli, etc.

Say... I used to watch this tv show on Zee Tv.Say somewhere around early 90s.It was about boy, a girl and their time machine.The time machine was yellow in colour.These kids would travel around in time to different places and they would be followed by the bad guy who also used to use time machines but were different each time with different powers.Anyone know which cartoon this is?I think it's a japanese cartoon,but in zee tv it was dubbed in hindi.

Ramayan, Mahabharat, Nukkad, Vikram Aur Betaal, Hum Log, Malgudi Days,dekh bhai dekh, Surabhi, Karamchand, Tenali Rama. Tipu Sultan, to go along with some cartoons like Telespin, Duck Tales, Jungle book and Telespin in Hindi ( these were actually better in Hindi than English) , He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Knight Rider, Quiz Time all on DD.

All these were before the days of cable TV. DD went down the drain later and my TV watching went with it. After that it was restricted to few cartoons on CN, news and sports.

Hehe I recently downloaded Ducktales. .... Interesting to watch it in english now since I watched in Hindi earlier.....I used to wait for sundays to watch it on DD national.... :) (at 9 AM IIRC) ..was in a small town back then , so often there were power cuts and I was left heartbroken.......
