Security Software I lost my Quick-heal cd and....

recently uninstalled QH av from my system.
My cd-rom is not working.I paid 850/- to get the renewal key for another 1 yr subscription of QH total security 2009.But as my cd-rom is not working i cannot run the setup.The engg says that i've to replace my cd-rom with new one but i'm not in the position to do so.
So how will i install QH now?
I copied all the drivers from the cd with the help of 1 of my friends cd-rom into my pendrive n copied them on my desktop,but when i click the autorun.exe the QH window opens but when i click on on the Install QH link nothing happens?! :@

Any other option?
 
Simple, make a image file of CD on your friend computer by Nero/Alcohol 120% etc and save it to your pendrive. Install Daemon tools/PowerISO etc and mount image file and run it to install. Thats it.

I have even installed Win XP on my linux Acer One (which does not have CD drive) through USB drive and its working like charm.
 
Why don't you download the trial from the website, and then use your key. Should work that way

The trial version. key doesnt have the field for entering renewal code.

I would suggest the create an image at friend and mount on your pc method. It's straightforward if you have the right tools(but only if the disc is completely copied).

The next quick step would be pirated download, if your ethics permit (after all you have paid for it).

Thanx, i got a link from QH support team which leads me to the setup n where i can fill in the renewal details.

But i got to learn something new here about the disc image.So,from now on even if ur cd-rom doesnt work n u have to runa .exe or setup file,u can always make an image copy it on the pendrive n run it.....:hap2:

I dont know how to run or make the ISO image.Incase i have to make 1 i'll pm u guyz for the tutorial.
