I need a TIN card not a TAN card

If any one is selling online over here on Flipkart, Amazon or snapdeal. These 3 companies are asking for TIN CARD which is very important. So I want to know how much does it cost to make a TIN CARD and which is the site from where you can make it. People who are selling online might know. Please share out your ideas and the costs please. By the way I am located in Mumbai
 
it depends.. its just like Sales Tax (Trade Tax) No. I do not have much idea now.. when i applied for UPST (Uttar Pradesh Sales Tax) No. back in 2001, it costed me around 6.5k through a lawyer who deals with tax related issues.
 
Okay I contacted 1 of the CA and he told me 8 lakhs rupees for the Tin number. Another one told me 1000 Rs whereas I dont know whether he understood the difference between TIN &TAN. Another one told me 1lakh rupees another one said 5 lakh rupees. Is it so costly to get a tin card in Mumbai? A pan card which I made online just cost me hardly 100 bucks. Y cant a TIN Card be made online?
