^^The theater is not Imax and is closed now from the last information i have.

I work in that campus and i can assure you the multiplex is not closed. They just screened Hangover 2 and Double Dhamaal over the last weekend.

^It used to be an IMAX theater AFAIK. Not the dome as was the case of IMAX Wadala. It is a multiplex having 4 screens.
Pretty sure it was no where to being an IMAX. Just that it has 4 screens and it shaped like a Dome/Golf Ball.

Coming to the OP, go for it and enjoy your training as it carries a lot of value later in life. You can leave the job in a year if it doesnt suit you.

^^Oh is it ?? I thought that after something happened in Dabbang (Munni badnaam is to be blamed) they had closed down. Probably it was temporary. :ashamed:

^ Yeah, that was in september IIRC. There wes no screening for about 3 weekends. After that it resumed.

Yes its after the Dabbang Incident and recently also its closed for a week for maintenance Activities.
The campus has everything and the Big screen is so huge and sound is awsome( Remember watching last Terminator movie there)
Can easily compete with some of the best Multiplex's out there , in India and around the world.

Ahaha! Interesting stuff. Making me feel somewhat comfy now. I was only worried about the placement thing. I should be fine as long as its blr/hyd/mysore/.. Is it possible to ask for a change or something?

People join infy for their world class training !!

but ppl start complaining when they do not get an opp. to apply the technologies they were trained on !!

if u are lucky u might get a chance to apply it on real life projects (chances being less )!!

I'll be joining as a Systems engineer, tier 3. What will the training basically comprise of. What is expected of me during and after training?

If you are from a Non CS background then you will have additional Basic training with Programming and basic computer training. Else you will start with Intermediate training where you have advanced programming and other technology training. Then you have a few months of Stream training where you will be put into certain technologies like Java, .NET, Open Systems, BI and so on. Posting is mostly random and you might not be working on the technology you are working on.

You are expected to have just the basic computer skill and knowledge. Nothing high is expected from you, just fast learning and replication required.
