I/O using Parallel port

I want to learn 25 pin parallel port for I/O operations for Windows XP. Can anyone give me some links for tutorials. Thanks

but try istalling Windows 98 ..coz windows xp not very riendly when it comes to accessing ports

Did you read the second link there? Programming parallel ports with XP does require a little effort, but what you need to do is all out there.
