I tried uninstalling VMware manually and now getting 0x000007E during boot

I uninstalled VMWare player manually by following instruction on ther site but now when starting machine it displays windows xp initial loading screen and then display 0x000007E blue dump.

Please help what to do now to start windows normally and also want to save window data.

It looks like a driver is still running on your system, we'll be able to get rid of it hopefully; but first you check the link and verify ur steps.

Yes followed the same artical's "Manually cleaning the Windows system" section

Check if you are able to boot into safe mode. (to do so hit the f8 key after bios and before windows boot loader.)

if you are able to boot to safemode then try a clean boot (How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" state)

if this also does not work go back to safemode and check for vmware npnp drivers. (open device manager -> click view -> show hidden devices. there should be a section called non plug and play drivers. expand this section and disable any vmware drivers which are still present. )

reboot to normal mode after disabling the drivers and check
