Hey friends, I've Win7 and I want to install Ubuntu(GNOME) and Mandriva(KDE). So I want to know that will one swap partition do or I need 2 swap parition for each?? And any booting issues...?? I've used Ubuntu before...but now if I install Mandriva will eveyrthing be fine...??

I"m planning to install Arch later after some months.

1 will work for many distro.

Swap Size : if you have less than Gb ram then swap partition size should be double the amount of ram. If you have >3gb ram then the size should be +2 to the amount of ram.
