Hi,
I want to monitor workgroup LAN , and want to control the activity of network and each pc in the network, my network is workgroup no server, is there any freeware software that can manage and control the activity so that i can block certain of websites, messengers, on the network,

for blocking, etc. you can use a proxy.

for viewing desktop and controlling each pc, you can use ultravnc and /mremote

'control the activity' you will have to explaing more, in case its a restricted environment, you can use Microsoft SteadyState which comes free fro desktop systems. Its great s/w.
