CPU/Mobo i5 2500 + P67 or i7 2600 + H67 for 3D rig(no OC)

I am trying to put together a 3D/animation rig for my younger brother.
There would be no overclocking.

Which of the two options would you guys advise ?

If no overclocking,go for a i7 2600+H67 combo.

i7 all the way. HT helps a lot with 3D rendering applications. 2600 would be anywhere between 15-18% faster.

Go for the i7 2600 + H67 since you are not going to OC it anyways!

i7 is the consensus then.

I haven't been following the SB/1155 family & though I had checked the cpu benches, I just wanted to make sure that the H67 didn't lack in any way apart from OC option.
