Wanted to know the following details mainly
1) am I paying too much of a premium over the normal market prices?
2)Will the idle power consumption of this PC be very High?(Load consumption is not an issue)
3)will it handle games for the next 2-3 years and other stuff for 4-5 years?
4)Will it run on a Microtek 600VA UPS?
5)Is there any major bottleneck in the system or is it balanced out?

Instead of i5 750+p55 for 16k, drop in 955 BE+cheap 785G (as you won't overclock) board for around 12k and invest the saved money towards a HD 5850. You'll definitely see a lot better performance at 1080p in all games.

It will be used for gaming only for 2 years, later will only be used for browsing etc.
5770 should be enough for the games I mentioned above at 1080p or not?
Another reason I cant go with AMD is the person I am buying this comp from does not deal in AMD, and I cant buy it from anywhere else..

Comical Reason :p There are heaps of store in NP who sells AMD and may i know the reason u are not getting from some other place. Also the quotes you are getting are definitely on the higher side. Chk these for approx delhi NP prices.

CM Elite 335 2400 (2100)
Core i5-750
DP55WB Motherboard 16100 (15400) Even cheaper as a combo at a few stores in NP. But i would suggest a Gigabyte H55M-UD2H ~ 5.7k.
ATI Radeon 5770 1GB MSI 10200 (9100). Even the Hawk Version costs only Rs.9600. Get the HAWK version as it has better cooling and better performance than the reference design.
2GB DDR3 1333 x2 5700 Kingston (5350)
Corsair Vx450w 4400 (3750)

Thats nearly Rs.3000 more than market price.

The ones on the bracket is the market price in NP.

Reason for going with this particular person is that I have been dealing with him for 10+ years and even though the prices are on the higher side, he provides me with excellent after sales support.

I am in Gurgaon and he will deliver the PC to my house, set it up and take care of any issues that arise for the next 3 yrs. Also, he replaces any component on the spot with a new one and deals with the RMA stuff himself(Somewhat like Dell's 3yrs onsite warranty)

So a 3k premium is not too much for the service.Just wanted to know that the premium is not 6-7k or so..

I need this support as I will be in my hostel for 7-8months in a year, so during that time support needs to be handled by him..

Major questions I need answered are

4)Will it run on a Microtek 600VA UPS?(Heritage plus)

5)Is there any major bottleneck in the system or is it balanced out?
