Budget 31-40k i5 & lightweight Laptop

Hi All,

Need a new laptop for my college, please advice.
  • What's your Budget? 30-40K (can add a 1-2 Ks)
  • What will be your primary usage for the notebook be? MS Office suite/surfing, run a virtual machine
  • What size and weight considerations do you have? Lighter the better, smaller the better. Would prefer not more than 13.3"
  • Any brand that you prefer, or any brand that you detest? Nothing as such
  • Any other considerations? Need nothing less than i5, 5-6hrs battery life and upgradeable to 8Gb RAM
I am leaning towards a Toshiba Portege R930-X3310 (1.4 Kg) being offered at 40K (without negotiations).

I wont suggest you a brand its your choice but If you want 5-6hrs battery life don't buy 3rd gen i5 go for a lappy with a 4th Gen i5.
