ITs all relative.

There are good, avg and bad batches in 920 as well as W3520.

How much you are getting W3520 for? I dont know the current market prices, but few months back it used to cost considerably more here in India compared to 920.

W3520 was believed to be higher binned part and it was case initially but there have been few average batches as well. (But still not as bad as some of the 920 D0 batches. Some recent 920 D0s were dreadful )

If you are getting option of choosing a batch, decide accordingly after checking out the ocing database over at XS.

Core i7 920 - 14.6k
Gigabyte EX58-UD5 - 16.1k ( Great for OC )
Corsair TR3X2G-1600 XMS3 C9 6GB Kit - 8.6k / Corsair TR3X1G-1333 XMS3 C9 3GB Kit - 4.5k / Corsair TR3X2G-1333 XMS3 C9 6GB Kit - 7.8k

Total - 39.3k / 35.1k / 38.5k

Stick to Corsair 1600mhz . They are better than 1333mhz if you have the money. 1333mhz offers no performance gain over DDR2

^^^ how bout MSI Eclipse Plus?
also do u know the price of Xeon W3520?

Gigabyte EX58-UD5 is a much better VFM than MSI Eclipse Plus .

Sorry , i don't know the price of Xeon W3250

Last time I checked, W3520 was available only on back order for well excess of 17K ( close to 18 iirc)

E8400 should fetch around 6-6.5k and your board should again fetch something close to 5.5-6k I guess considering it has no HS on VRM

At what voltage are you running your E8400 at 4.35Ghz?
