iATKOS v2.0i

I don't know about Abit but for p965 boards not all sata ports work for install, if I am not mistaken only first 2 sata ports of the 4 will work initially to install but you will not get the Apple logo. Unfortunately I am rusty and don't remember all the issues. There is a thread for the Abit motherboards at insanelymac that will be useful. There are other things like bios settings, ahci that can make a difference.

I have the iATKOS v1.1 release installed on a spare 200GB HDD on my rig with specs as in sig.

But do note that Leopard is highly unstable (Bugs and performance/stability issues) as it is even on Apple released Mac hardware, leave alone on a Hackintosh. Unless your requirements are trivial I wouldnt recommend using it as a Primary OS.

I second Lord Nemesis on that, though I haven't come across any show stoppers, on the contrary its quite stable but it took a quite a bit effort, time and lot of reading to get to that stage. It really can't be your primary OS, that's what a mac is for. Most of the drivers are hacks and I wouldn't use it as my primary system.

heh heh ive been playing alot on this topic , io have finally settled on one release with the most packages n compatibility i.e. Leo4all V3 , get taht , youtube for the install guide ;) also install teh vanilla 9.2.2 klernel and deselect the default 9.2.0 kernel and u shud be up n running without any issues

i too struggled with a lot of releases before settling on this , this works for both likes of intel and amd toghether.
