PC Peripherals iball cabinet front usb ports not working in windows

I got a iball cabinet for a family member , installed windows 8 through pendrive using the front usb port , when i connect a usb drive its recognised in bios but no usb device is working in windows , is it a driver issue ?
 
the back ports work fine , after googling i found even some people on win7 with this problem , some one fixed it by disabling "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" in device manager.
