Hey Guys,

I usually test the UPS every 2-3 weeks as mentioned in the manual, by keeping the pc off & the main Power off and turning on the UPS on battery for about 10 mins. Today when i tried that... it wouldn't turn on, it would beep & then all lights on it would go off. it stays on when it gets power from the Main line.. its not staying on battery. Is it dead?

the UPS is more than 2 years old, i think it only has 1 year warranty so its out of warranty & i am guessing the Battery is dead. My Main PC config is in my signature. Is it too much for this UPS? i Need to know cause i have to buy a new one now. and i am thinking the same one or can you recommend a better one?

Thanks

For sure your batteries are the culprit here. Hope your UPS was working fine in the past with the same config. I think the UPS has 2 batteries connected in series. Check the voltage of each battery individually. If you have any battery less than 12.5 volt, then for sure you gotta replace it.
It would be better to change both the battery. I could not think of anything else being the culprit.
