iBerry has just announced two new tablets running on Google's Android OS, the iBerry Auxus CoreX2 dual core tablet and the iBerry Auxus CoreX4 quad core tablet. You read right, a quad core tablet. Enter the iBerry Auxus CoreX4, the first budget Indian quad core tablet (although with it's price tag it's pretty close to a Google Nexus 7, but really this tablet is worth checking out. You'll find out as you read).
iBerry Auxus CoreX4 (quad core)

The iBerry Auxus CoreX4 is a quad core tablet. That being said this tablet runs Samsung's very powerful quad core Exynos 4412 chipset packing four ARM Cortex A9 CPU cores. In addition the tablet features 2 GB of RAM and Android 4.0 ICS to boot. This pretty much makes the iBerry Auxus CoreX4 a complete budget package, for those looking for one. Let's take a closer look.
iBerry Auxus CoreX4 Specifications

  • Samsung Exynos 4412 chipset
  • 1.6 GHz quad core ARM Cortex A9 CPU
  • ARM Mali-400 MP4 quad core GPU
  • 2 GB of DDR3 RAM
  • 9.7" XGA (1024*728) IPS LCD display
  • 2 MP rear camera, 0.3 MP front camera
  • 16 GB of internal storage
  • Built in 3G SIM slot, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI, Full HD 1080p playback
  • 11 mm thick, 612 grams weight
  • 7,200 mAh battery
  • Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

The iBerry Auxus CoreX4 will come with a price tag of Rs 15,990. Those who want a powerful tablet with a big display (and hence do not want to buy the Nexus 7) can definitely consider the iBerry Auxus CoreX4 as an alternative.
iBerry Auxus CoreX2 (dual core)

The iBerry Auxus CoreX2 is a dual core tablet by iBerry. Apart from this, the iBerry Auxus CoreX2 is a smaller 7" tablet. Also, it comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and packs only 1 GB of RAM. As you can clearly see, the iBerry Auxus CoreX2 cuts down on many features from the higher end iBerry Auxus CoreX4 tablet. Let's take a closer look.
iBerry Auxus CoreX2 Specifications

  • 1.6 GHz dual core ARM Cortex A9 CPU
  • ARM Mali-400 MP2 (dual core) GPU
  • 1 GB of DDR3 RAM
  • 7" (1280*800) IPS LCD display
  • 2 MP rear camera, 0.3 MP front camera
  • 8 GB of internal storage
  • expandable storage upto 64 GB via micro SD card
  • Built in 3G SIM slot, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI, Full HD 1080p playback
  • 9.7 mm thick, 312 grams weight
  • 4,100 mAh battery
  • Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

The iBerry Auxus CoreX2 will run on a newer Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. We wish this was also the case with the CoreX4 tablet. The iBerry Auxus CoreX2 will cost Rs. 10,990 making it one of the more expensive budget tablets. Now it's upto you to decide if the better features are worth the price premium. For a 7" tablet, we believe this one is a pretty solid contender if you can spend around 10k.

10 inch tablet with quad core, 2GB ram, 3G etc with 1024 resolution and no GPS? Are they out of their mind?

Gonna be a big fail.

It looks like, 10 inch tab has GPS so thats good.

Commandable job on their part.

Why would anyone design a high speced tablet with poor resolution? All these chinese tabs miss out some important feature like bluetooth (in older models) and waste a nice product.
