since everyone know DC lost his phone recently, went on a hunt for a new phone today, came across this friend of my who now happen to have a mobile phone store. Says can get a 16GB iPhone from the US for about 25k, maybe 500-1k less depending on the customs.

He can also provide you with the US apple store bill incase you need warranty, and the phone is available both unlocked and locked if you prefer to unlock it yourself but the price remains same.

So thought id give people a heads up, hes looking for atleast 4-5 orders, DC is in for one, so if anyone else is interested, post or PM.

But, i agree. Prices are less, for someone who can't order them from US directly. ;)

Actually I got the 8GB phone for Rahulrulez for 19.5K
Also, got the 16GB phone for another member from another forum for 24.5K

Both from Apple US store.

well good but i dont see a GO started for this form your side, and its not that am earning some $$ here, just an offer that i got that am patching through. Also like i mentioned in the first post, price might come down by 500 to 1000 bux depending on the number of orders and customs.

I never intended to say that you were making out of it. Just wanted to mention that I got it for Rahulrulez from the US...since he did not mention that in his post.
 
One word of advice. Irrespective of whether you have a BILL or not, the warranty isn't active unless you have a AT&T account. Confirmed that in the hackintosh forums.

So once you touch the phone and dont have a AT&T accnt (like 99.95% of wont), you are on your own. The good thing is, the fun begins after you jailbreak activate unlock the phone... the warranty is void automatically that way. However, if these are bought from Apple Online Store, RMA possiblilty is there without a AT&T account because they don't ask for proof of purchase of AT&T package anymore, but just the serial number (which your iPhone has.)

Is the warranty valid at the Apple store even after jail-breaking/unlocking it?

Apart from the Apple Online store.. what about other stores like say Amazon.com (don't think they make it necessary to buy the AT&T package?)

i dont see a lock.. so its not..

anyways.. rave i am not promising but i will be interested in this after 2nd June or after i sell off my HTC P3400 .. hopefully its there till that time :|
