Hmmm i lost and made damage for 29000 bucks when i brought Eee 1000(H) few days back :@ and now i got the offer from ASUS for Eee PC 1000(H) for 23920 + shipping .
any ways guyies let me know any one is intrested regarding the same .

specs remains the same as link only the HDD is 80GB in this model

dude, that's an awesome deal! I might just take it from you, 24K ain't that much for the 1000H and having used that laptop (thanks to you), I kind of liked it

all that can compete might be the lighter Aspire (IF they ever get around to launching the 6cell here) else this is good, even if a little big for a netbook (1.45kgs i think :))

good deal for the price anyway ;)
 
thanks for all that friends but i had buyed it for 29k long time back .anyways that not a Big deal will try to sell it to some family members if i get good price .
this lappy is much more superior than Acer one in terms of BUILT qUALITY ,BATTERY LIFE ETC.more over this lappy has got bluetooth .1.3M camera and such additional stuffs such as Original Windows Xp Home Edition .When you get laptop batttery life is much important than rest all features thanks to 6 cell battery in it. this laptop is also coming with 120 gb HDD .
If any member is seriously i can try to create a GO!
 
i agree with predatorvj...

things to look for in notebook in order of preference... except OS and usage...
- battery life
- keypad comfort
- accesssibility wifi / lan / etc

and that product specs point ot a 160gb HDD... freaking awesome...

to add to it, it has draft n wireless thingy, which will give upto speeds of 300MBps with a draft n router...
 
neo dollar price is not 43 but 45 right now

plus those are us price and most important stuff u miss is warranty...

IF someone is bringing it for u than its okk else shipping option and all will led at same price

Btw i might get one frm prime as they offering for 25k .....and being asus....rashi will b their provider so i guess i can get xtra advantage regarding warranty....

Got it for a friend for 23.5k all inclusive,Kolkata.

Didn´t look around too much...guess could´ve got it a bit more cheap.

Unfortunately it developed a (single) dead pixel....grrr....had run dpb at the shop...no dead pixel detected and the very next morning it had to show up.

The warranty policy claims minimum 3 dp for replacement.

Had a talk with Asus and they referred to Neutrik for service(no Rashi).

Neutrik wala read out the warranty policy for me.So I got back to Asus again and handed over the phone to Neutrik.After some deliberations Neutrik agreed to take back the set...wonderful.

hats off to Asus support....

23.5k thats a pretty good price....

But now i m damn confuse....all tv reviews says go for aspire one for kool look...but only thing i m not able to make sure is whether its a 3 cell or 6 cell(in india)..stuff else would have gone for it..

final word aspire one or eee pc..ill b more towards surfing and learning basic animation...not hi fi stuff...??/sure will go with 6 cell battery but not sure which one available in india
 
Today SMC has quoted 23.7k for the 1000H - because the $ has gone up to Rs. 46.50. I think this is pretty cool price - will be down in Delhi next week and pick one up.
