i dont think thats the case. my nokia 6630 doesnt have a2dp and it can still be connected as a bluetooth handsfree though not as stereo headphones.

what are ya doing when pairing up the cans ? when starting it keep pressing the power button of the cans for greater than 6 secs and the bluetooth light would start blinking indicating it ready for pairing then search the cans they would get detected the default pass key for the cans is 0000
