[IC] Membes Contribution for a new skin for TE

Hello there,
I am quite active on Good news and bad news all rolled into one thread since couple of days. After TE migrated to vBulletin, we are looking for a good skin for Techenclave. There were so many requests for bringing old TE skin back but like Renegade said, our old theme is not compatible with vB 4.x and the original skin developer asking for like $100 to convert our old skin to current platform (i.e. vB 4.1.12)
Obviously, $100 isn't a small amount and TE staff can not just pay $100 for upgrading oldctheme when there are new and better options are available. Renegade already said, "He has no problem with bringing old Skin back if somebody is willing to pay the money"

I thought, how if we look for a alternative skin instead. Yes, I am talking about the old TE Skin (the one TE used to have back in 2009-10, I guess). In fact it is one of the most beautiful, professional and ambient skin ever I have seen.

Here's some mathematical stuff :
Even if 15 of us are interested, we only have to play 150bucks each which is not a huge amount.
Please let me know if you are interested in contributing for this theme. I am not forcing anyone to contribute, Waiting for your replies..

i really loved the IPB theme than this.
but i can contribute to TE. xD
and @Rahul++ , @sumchamp ideal theme looks good ah

Guys my only point is that you should take responsibility of what you demand. We can very well afford a skin but there is no easy way to make everyone happy. So you all come to a consensus and pay for it. Whatever you choose or buy will be for yourself. I will simply install it on TE as an option.
 
Yeah...no need to get extended user license.

Btw can you add theme into poll. Let member select which theme to implement and give them multiple selection option.
 
I found these three. Although liked the blue one better as TE is in Blue.

I have no problem in contributing if a few members decide to go for any of these or any other also.
Come on guys. there are definitely more than 50 highly active members on TE. we can contribute even for that old 100$ one. 100-150 bucks from each one is not much. Saying this when i am just a 12th pass out no job. :P Seriously, Think about it too. :)

Same here, I am about to finish my Engineering, I am jobless though but can contribute ~200-300bucks easily. Blue theme looks good ;-)

:p I suggest that you guys list down all the options first. Maybe shortlist a bunch out of them and then start a poll. Otherwise everyday there will be a new suggestion and you will have to edit the poll. Then someone will realize he likes the new one better than the one he voted for.
 
Well, I would say, Either Element or Ideal. Both are the looking so damn good.

I used to love our old Element theme, actually I always wanted it back. Very neat and clean. Much better than existing one.

Benefit of going with Ideal skin -
1. Costs $10 less than Element
2. Multiple color schemes to chose from

Others suggested here are Okaysh.

How is Element skin, what do you guys think?
