I've been lazy since a while, in posting my car's ICE, but the other reason why I haven't been able to post the entire ICE Install here is because I have been making a lot of changes (read, upgrades).
After a long time, these are finally almost complete. Here's a small documentation of the EXTENSIVE upgrade that has been on since the last 3 months.

Here's the configuration, some weeks ago
1. Pioneer 7950UB Head Unit
2. Sony XM-504Z 4 Channel 'Power' Amplifier
3. Kenwood Paper Cone coaxials for the front
4. Pioneer TS-6985 Coaxials for the Rear
5. Pioneer 305F Free Air Subwoofer in a Ported Enclosure
6. Some wiring and some fuse block

After a Lot of upgrades (EVERYTHING)
The final configuration looks this:
Head Unit: Alpine CDA-9887
Speakers:
Front: Illusion Audio Luccent IM6.1 Component System
Rear: Ground Zero MK2 6â€x9†coaxials
Subwoofer : Illusion Audio Luccent IM-12 in Custom MDF Enclosure
Amplifiers:
Components and Rear Fills: Ground Zero GZTA120MK2 4 Channel Power Amplifier
Subwoofer: Rockford Fosgate Punch 325.2 2 Channel Power Amplifier (MONObloc mode)

Wiring:
Illusion Audio 16AWG Reference Series Cabling
Polycab 2AWG 35sq.mm Power Cabling
Twister Amplifier Wiring Kit
Boss Audio Wiring
Ichibahn Fuse and Holder
If at any point you see something, and in the next few pictures, that thing has disappeared, please do not get confused. An upgrade was done and that Item was done away with :-)
Also, dates will be different as this upgrade was done over 3 months.
I WILL FIELD QUESTIONS AND GIVE ADVICE TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE ANY QUERIES ABOUT WHAT THEY SEE.
ALSO, I SHALL ANSWER ANY QUERIES REGARDING ICE IN YOUR CAR. JUST GO AHEAD AND ASK! CHEERS!
WARNING: There's a lot of pics, so wait for them to load and then see all of them :0

I had recently got my honda city done up by Ajay and this Rashid guy at the same place, damping and cabling and all.
just the front 5.1 illusion speakers + pioneer head end though.
rear + amps i will get it done later when have some money to spare.
BTW, did you audition the that 20 lacs audio system inside their office. some kick ass danish stuff. was there listening for nearly 2 hours.highly impressive stuff.

Edit: For all mumbai TE ICE fanatics. This is THE place to get your stuff and fittings done.expensive but the quality is top class. and remember do not save on dampings, it makes one hell of a difference in audio reproduction in any vehicle.

4. How serious were your about your system?

Answer: Sold my house, my parents, my degree and still had to borrow some money from loan sharks!

5. What kind of music do you listen to?

Answer:

* I listen to a lot of Contemporary and Classic Rock. Hindi music also figures on my list, but nothing chamkeela. I listen to what they call, the real music.

* Do not like stuff that is Neo Famous, and would prefer it if people listened to their hearts and not their heads and wallets while creating music.

* I hate opening the boot and showing people how much excursion my sub woofer can make, or sticking a Decibel Meter on the windshield to show people some random numbers.

* I love my music and can go to any limits to make sure that I get what I want.

6. Where was the install completed?

Answer: Hermit Audio, by Ajay Kamath.

7. Would you recommend it to others?

Answer: I recommend an audition. Its upto them if they enjoy music this way. Everyone likes their music in a peculiar way. I am one of them.

8. Future upgrades?

Answer: A wife, A beautiful house, A fledgling Clinic, A mistress.. OOOPS..

Over and out!

UPDATE: an ipod 30Gb has been added to the car and i can now control the ipod through my head unit through a new kce-422i interface cable! cheers!

reason i purchased the ipod is to play lossless stuff which i feel, plays MUCH better than mp3s!

wow !great

I will also love to add good system in car ,but hell I'm afraid of thief's.I prefer to spend on home audio .

err...

thieves donno about illusion audio or steg or ground zero brands.

they would rather rob a jbl or pioneer system.

amey i bought luccents after listening to them in your car man! fell in love with them in a few minutes of listening. got em doors FG'ed too, after hearing your car. you're the example. we follow :-P

cheers!

Credit goes to Ajay :)

But seriously, i never knew that FG could make such a huge difference till i experienced !
Henceforth, all my setups will have it as a mandatory thing. :P

Would definitely love to audition your setup sometime.More keen on listening to the Luccent Sub, never heard one before, especially, one paired with Luccent Comps.
