Icici transfer time?

If you are transfering to an another ICICI a/c, its an instant process. For a 3rd party bank transfer it'll take upto 3 working days.
 
omg.. it is to another icici accnt.. a dude is buying my gpu, he deposited cash it seems.. hasn't reached my accnt yet.. bank fault?
 
From my experience:

I got a DVD drive from kniwor, so transferred into his bank a/c (non-ICICI) from my ICICI a/c..

It took like some 3 days for the money to show up in his a/c.

But the cash goes out from the sender's a/c instantaneously :P

No need to worry though, the bank doesn't rob....
 
by cash : instantaneous

by net transfer : same bank : almost instant may take few hours according to time of transaction

by net transfer : another bank : same location : with in 2/3 hours max 1 day

by net transfer : another bank : outside location : 1-4 days depending upon location, bank, time of transaction.

have been using ICICI and HDFC bankonline transfers for a long period and fully satisfied by it. keep a record of transaction ID or number better take a printout.
 
A few small doubts here... whats the least amount one can transfer online from Icici to another bank (and if this other bank happens to be sucky Bank of India) ?

Also, does the first transaction take place or not? coz the first time i tried, nothing got transferred :| transferred 50rs. and it didnt get thro..

@sathyanaidu, your friend may have deposited the money in a drop box, (ICICI stupids always ask to do that) in that case it will reflect in your account only in the end of the day.
If you want the payment to reflect in your account immediately, insist on remitting the cash in counter and get the receipt.
 
For me, even while transferring from ICICI to non ICICI account, the transfer takes place at once and the cash shows up usually within the day or the next.

The minimum transfer amount is 500 Rs. (multiples of 500 it has to be, I think.)

are u sure about it doc??? coz i often transfer money from ICICI a/c to ABN Amro and SBI account and it takes 2 to 3 days for the transfer. I am sure of this coz i do once in a week. Same case with ABN Amro to SBI.

yes pretty sure, i always transfer money from ICICI to HDFC bank account every month two to three times and get confirmation sms by 3/4 hours maximum, only once it was dalayed because that day being holiday.
