Idea GPRS/Edge on iPhone

Anyone using Idea data services on iPhone ? I am trying to get it working on mine but unfortunately its not working.

I had set it up when I had the iPhone briefly, it should work. Its the 2G right?

Set the APN (Access Point) as 'internet' and usrname/pw both blank.

The APN for Idea Mumbai is imis which has already been set. But it also needs setting up proxy server address which I am not sure how to do on iPhone . Just for the record, I tried it in my HTC Kjam and it works fine on it.

Works. Brilliant. I was using the apn for pure wap connections. The correct apn was indeed "internet". Speeds - pretty decent. Their postpaid Edge plans are amongst the cheapest you would get in Mumbai atleast. Thanks Anish for your help
