Budget 90k+ Ideal configuration for Video making/editing using (Adobe After Effects, Premier) (little 4K and 3D animations) and image editing Photoshop etc.

Futureized

Skilled
Budget PC - 1 lakh to 1.25 lakh max.
Looking for an ideal configuration for mainly video making/editing using tools like Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premier.
Some times get 4K videos and 3d animation work.

Other then that image editing processing using Adobe Photoshop etc. (DTP work)
Already have a 22 inch monitor with keyboard and mouse (so these are not required).

Can someone suggest better configuration as per usage requirements.
Machine has to be assembled in Mumbai (friend shall prefer buying options within Mumbai).

Here is a configuration received from hardware vendor..
Rich (BB code):
Core i5 11600k ..17000+
Mb.msi z590a pro ..14000+
Ram 16gb ddr4 ..5500×2+
Graphics 1660super ..48000+
Cabinet mesh55 ..5500+
Power supply 750w gold ..6000+
Cpu cooler ..5000+
Ssd samsung 970 500gb ..5500+
Hdd 1tb ..2450+

  1. If your friend is going to overclock then only go for K series processors. Otherwise opt for Non K series processors and B560 Motherboards to save money.
  2. 16GB is probably fine but 32GB RAM is recommended for both Premier Pro and After effects. If money is saved in processor and motherboard, divert it to RAM
  3. RAM prices are too much! Save a couple of thousands by going with 3000 Mhz CL16 RAM which retail at about 3200 per 8GB. Performance difference should be less than 5%
  4. You can probably go for a cheaper cabinet
  5. Cooler is too costly. Something like Cooler Master Hyper 212 black is 4K on amazon and should be sufficient for an Core i5 for video editing work loads
  6. Consider only SSD/NVME storage for smooth timeline performance and atleast 1TB. HDD can be used for archiving footage.
  7. Ensure 1660 Super has atleast 4G VRAM. 6G VRAM is better

Adding to Vaibhav's points. Cooler is definitely more expensive. Either go with Deepcool Gammax Blue or Pro (1.5k and 2.2K) which would perform on par with Hyper212 (older and overpriced currently), or if you must spend more than 5K, go with Noctua aircoolers. For content creation, it should have more storage space. As much more as possible, cause it will fill up quickly.

Thanks for replies.
The above configuration is just an idea received from local vendor.
Will request to post complete configuration which you think will be good and under the given budget.
@vaibhavyagnik thanks will go for 32 GB RAM.
@buzz88 Thanks will check for options in cooler, please give me a complete configuration if you can.

get a 2060 or 2070 super or 3060 instead. 48000+ 1660 super is not worth the money. also get the LANCOOL mesh 2 cabinet. abit over budget but you won't regret it as its one of the best airflow cabinets out in market.

If he is getting 1660 for a whooping 48k imagine the rates been quoted for 3060..

I know someone who bought a brand new msi 3060ti for 58k so 72k itself is too overpriced! For 76-80k 3070ti makes sense.
Yes for 76k to 80k 3070Ti makes sense while for 58k 3060Ti makes sense. No compromises what so ever here or the scalpers will become angry.

Wow, then my friend got scalped lol . He got a colorful 3060ti for 72k. However Bangalore dealers also quoted a higher price to me.

This is whats happening and how scalping people are easily able to take undue advantage!
5 months earlier I had set my budget to 68k for 3070 but then it was selling near 85+k mark and even 1 lac.
Destiny had other plans I was able to seal a deal for 3060ti FE for msrp 36k. Patience paid off!
But would still like to upgrade to a descent 3070 AIB card any day if I find a fair deal!

i would suggest get a bigger and faster(wd black/samsung pro series) 1tb ssd as a scratch disk, render times on ssd's are much lower due to lower i/o time.

Thank You very much for suggestions, Me and my friend both are n00b in selecting right hardware.
I will again request you to suggest entire configuration please.
The quote received from a hardware seller, we are not going to buy the same if we find better deal..

Thanks for this, Graphic card is taking the budget to 134K apprx.
Is this the best configuration as per requirements above ? Any other suggestions ?
Will talk with friend if he is ready for same, or still wants to restrict the budget.

Spending almost 50K on older gen 1660S is a no-no. For 10K more, you get latest 3060 with 12GB of VRAM. I think that 10k is well-spent in the current market.

The problem here is not budget for OP but availability is.
Even I am trying to get a budget AMD card to make mine a complete AMD Build but could not do so because of inflated prices.
Getting any RTX 3060 ti or 3060 FE versions from rptech india is the only option.

But it might take any year of waiting to procure one such card.
So to reduce the waiting period one needs to get the higher priced cards like 3080 ti or 3090 because such cards waiting period is just 3 months to 4 months. That's why.

Even I registered for every card starting from 3060 ti to 3080 ti in rptech india.

The rig I suggested above has the link to 3060 for 61.5K in stock currently and in Mumbai as per their requirement.
He was already considering paying the current premium of almost 50K for 1660S. If you are paying the current market prices, might as well go with the latest.

How to register for the cards individually ?
