Graphic Cards Identify the cards.......

I came accross a review which had these cards..... Lets see if you guys can guess the exact make and model of these cards..... Lots of hints are availale:

Well here is my guess from left...

nVidia reference 6800U(Sample by nVidia)

ATI X850 XT-PE

And if i am correct then seriously i didnt cheat at all... I will give my explanation later...

Agree with broar:

Except the Leadtek uses the reference design, so it could be even an Asus, XFX, Albatron.

Dunno about the 6800U though, looks more like a 6800GT

Heh ! Apo is right i think. The 6800U has some fins jutting out of the cooler's side. So my revised guesses are

X850XT could be Sapphire

6800GT Aopen/Nvidia reference

7800GT

BFG 7800GTX OC

That pic looks like it is from someone who collects hi-end cards. Possibly nicked from another forums/site even. Hence anybody who does that wouldn't get the two same cards

EDIT: Nvm, both are 7800GTX, either Nvidia ref or some board partner who is using ref Nv design.

Hmm........ I think I dont have to wait for 24 hrs.... So here goes:

1 ) First card from left is a BFG 7800GTX OC card.

2 ) Nopes this is not LEADTEK, nor any other 2nd tier distributor for that matter. It is a reference nVidia 7800GTX..... if u look closely, the uncovered part near the fan is visible. No card seller sells it uncovered. Unless ofcourse it was of a eVGA card where the owner had taken off the sticker because they are prone to come loose and choke the fan.

3 ) Lot of correct guesses, but none exact. It is a also a reference board from nVidia.... being a 6800GT/Ultra. There is no visible difference between the reference 6800GT and Ultra. It is the fan customizations that various companies put that makes them look different.

4 ) It is again an ATI reference X850 XT PE board. This was from a review site as I mentioned in the post #1. Hence so many reference board.

It is easy to spot an Nvidia reference board... See the card holder in both the reference cards... Its not the same as in the retail cards... Thats how you spot a reference card ...

Also its a 6800Gt and not an Ultra cause its a single slot solution and not a Dual slot... Easy to spot...
