CPU/Mobo idle temperature of CPU???

My config is :
CPU : Q6600, 3 Gb Ram, GPU : HD 5670 1 GB, PSU : CoolMaster 430w V2, MOBO: Intel DG33FB, HDD: 250GB


What should be the idle temperature of my CPU when my system is ON with just basic default application running???

What temperatures are you seeing?
Below 50 degrees C should be normal.
Hard to guess-timate without knowing what sort of ambient temperatures there are inside your cabinet.

But its pointless, since its the Load temperatures that matter.
 
Run OCCT and then report back.
This half load state temperature is pointless.

What are your room temperatures?
What are your hard disk temperatures?
 
As long as its below its threshold 98 C , the temps are fine. If your're too skeptical buy Cooler Master TX3 ( below 2.2k ) to lower your temps.

Idle temp -> less than 45-50C is fine.
Load temp -> Less than 87-90 C is fine
