I hav started using idm, but m facing a prob. I cant download files one at a time. It download all files together. Is there some way to make it single download at a time.

Yes. You can stop all downloads and then go to Downloads > Start Queue > Start Main Download Queue. This will start downloading one file at a time and proceed to next file in queue once current downloading finishes.
Also, when queuing download, when the download dialogue box pops up you can select Download Later. This will not start downloading the file instantly but just add in the queue. Once you finish queuing the desired files you use above method to start the download queue.

another thing u can do..
Go to Scheduler--->Main download Queue---> click on "files in the queue"---> then enter the number '1' in the box then apply,
it will now download 1 file at a time!!
