Last 3 days I am having problem with IDM giving me "random" error while downloading the file from rapidshare or yousendit.com, if i bypass idm then firefox can download the files so indeed its the issue with IDM, need to solve this problem. I restart the computer then idm works fine for 2-3 times then again I see the same problem.

I also get random web browsing problem with firefox.

Server not found

Firefox can't find the server at Google.

* Check the address for typing errors such as
ww.example.com instead of
Example Web Page

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
---------------------------------------------

I hit refresh & the same page would now open so cant understand as to what is creating this random problem?

the option 1 & 2 are not applicable as shown in screenshot as the internet connect is available & I have given access to IDM in firewall as trusted application.

Can someone tell me how to solve this issue.
The error is shown in screen shot attached.

i am also facing some issues with IDM since 3-4 days. when using "Add batch download from clipboard" the links size are showing in Kb and file type as 'Firefox documents',

now when i try to download the same links manually one by one by logging into RS account, it downloads well.. what might be the problem!!??

Update your IDM, my IDM has been working perfectly for the last 4 months. I'm presuming you have entered your details into the app properly and are Premium Users?

Also, try disabling the firewall entirely and seeing if it works.

What internet security are u using? Try disabling it totally just to check if the problem persist or not? Disable it and reconnect ur internet and check if it working flawlessly or not. Sometime setting in Internet Security make them unable to download. It happened to me when I set Security level to high in my KIS 2010. If u have altered ur security level then set it as recommended.

For this try open DNS
