IGN to exclusively announce ‘unexpected X360 game’

Douglas Perry, editor at IGN, is promising to deliver exclusive details on a 360-only game "you never would have expected" around noon PST.

Perry is hyping this announcement, which supposedly includes screens and an interview with the company president, on the IGN boards.

He says nobody in the forums has come close to guessing what the mystery title is, so prepare to be either thrilled, apathetic or annoyed that Doug got your hopes up. Anybody have any ideas as to what it could be ?

___________

I would update it tomorrow, in the meantime feel free to take pot-shots, also Noon PST is about 8 GMT or 13:30 IST :cool2:

And Now for Something Completely Different...
Forget Grand Theft Auto for a moment. Rockstar Games aims to innovate in a different way, in a different genre, without a single gun.

Rockstar has become the center for urban cool in videogames over the last five years with games such as GTA, Manhunt, and Midnight Club. Why on Earth would you go and make a game based on table tennis?

Okay, R* has lost its brain. They got my respect because they were the first to brin the whole 'underground' scene to the videogames, and games like MidNight Club have even said to influence the production of Fast and The Furious, but this is freakin' insense, they think they are gonna try anything new and its gonna work!

that game includes "major" animation issues...u need to REALLY work on the body movements in a TT game to get a gud flowing characters

(if this impliments well...say goodbye to pre-defined animation movements!!! imagine a free flowing and completly dynamic jung -fu fighting in Tekken and really realistic sports games)

and ya....not to forget the physics & control difficulties in making a game like this

well i thing is for sure...this game WILL sell in South Asian region and that's all u need

All that's in the real life sport. Such things don't translate well into a game. Look at ragdoll kungfu as an example or even the football games out there.

Only racing games mimic the real thing anywhere as closely and that also only if you have a wheel.
