image maps

hey,
im using notepad (old, i know) and making image maps has become one hell of a problem, just eating my time and pressing my already hard pressed schedule..
Im a fairly new web page designer and ive not done much at all...
could someone plese suggest better ways to go aout image maps?

switch to frontpage or dreamweaver.

if you have office installed you most probably have frontpage too.
 
i was hopeful there was sme software which could create the image map explicitly actually.. and i have office 2003 but no frontpage, somehow :S
