My imation 320GB M100 Portable harddrive is behaving abnormally. so i opened up HDtune. and it is showing reallocated sector counts as following.

And it is also making tick tick sounds now and then.
Anyone know who handles the RMA for imation india ? i cant find anything on imation web. even india is not listed in SoutAsia Imation site.
 
tried Rashi for RAM but they dont do the RMA for imation. called up accel frontline but same answer.
So who privdes the RAM for imation ?:unsure:
 
Imation (India) Private Limited - seems like they dont have a web page for india, not any service center.

On the singapore site, they have asked to contact dealer or place of purchase for RMA enquiries. Where did you buy the hdd from? online?
Do you have the original box? If you have the original box, search for rma information on it or importers sticker on it.
 
Tried those numbers from the box and email. both not working.
email is bouncing back. and customer care number doesn't exist. 011-40576290/91
 
anyway. it looks like Indian customers RMA operate via Singapore only. I am going to put this HDD for Sale.
Anyone in past did RMA process of imation HDD ?
