Done a lot of research online for an answer to my ailing question.. all in vain..:-(
Well abt my query.. my bro wants to send me his iphone 3gs which he has been using over a year. Ass is getting htc sensation..zzz . Anyways he will be sending it via courier dhl to me and what i want to know will it attract any customs duty? He will be marking it gift and a sub 10k value. The problem is when they open to check it they will see an iphone and say hell this is not sub 10k! And if i tell ma bro to put the bill along to prove its used the 'gift' condition will get void!(As per some other forums were mentioning). There is no clear rules regarding importing items in used condition as far as i searched. I would like sm1 who has had any previous experience with customs to help this poor soul! !
