Okay ,, i got a new computer so.. installed Windows (xp) on it
now on my old computer harddisk i have lots of bookmarks in Firefox..
and the main problem is some how windows got corrupted and i cant boot in to Windows Xp..
but i can connect the Hdd to my new Rig and iam able to access all the programme files is there any way from which i can get my Firefox bookmarks back to my new Windows installation ?
plzzzzzz help

All the bookmarks are saved somewhere in HDD, search for "bookmark" folder in your older drive. you should get it. Bookmarks are nothing but shortcuts(same way you place your shortcuts in desktop, those bookmarks should be somewhere in older drive in one folder "Bookmark/bookmarks", C:\Documents and Settings --> yourusername --> application data --> ****** something like that. .) . copy the same folder in same place after installing the XP and firefox in new Partition.

Or just Opera Link

What does these two post means? Please explain.

@OP

In future use FavBackup software to backup and restore bookmarks including cookies and saved passwords for browser like IE / Firefox / Opera.

^^

delicious.com (owned by yahoo) stores and tags your bookmarks in a very oraganised manner, online.

So, even if your system is formatted, your bookmarks /links are intact, organised. You can browse by tags, search and do much more with your links.

Its a very interesting tool in that aspect.
