I had originally purchased a Corsair 600T in December after falling in love with it. The flowing lines, the awesome color made me crazy.

Its been almost a year now and my power button has been acting up on me. Its no longer a gentle press to turn on, but instead it requires a few hard presses to turn on. So since corsair does not want us to call the distributor but call then instead i decided to shoot them a mail and have a word with them. What followed has truly made me a life long fan or corsair.

I mailed them on Friday morning and described the problem along with my purchase details. I left for college and thought that ill check my mail the following day, but to my surprise, i had a reply from them the very same day. They wanted my shipping details and contact information. The weekend passed and after i got no reply for them (weekend), me being the impatient types decided to call them on tech support on Tuesday night using skype :).

I had a talk with customer service who asked me to give them another 48 hours and if nothing happened by then to call up again. I dint really mind and went about my business as usual. I called them up again a few minutes back and had a chat with the customer service head and got things sorted out. I held out why i am so thrilled about this chat of ours

1)Tech/Customer support is truly amazing. They were polite and responsive and actually cared about my problem

2)Kelvin (head) is a really really nice fellow. He said that since the power button/front ports are not replaceable, he will ship me a brand new 600T from the states with shipping and Customs paid for. All i have to do is mail him a copy of my receipt which is no biggie.

3)oh almost forgot the best part. He doesn't want the old case back :cool2:

This has made my day (or night) and im going to sleep like a baby. Im so glad i went with corsair with this case and im sure to buy more corsair products in the future.

PS-i also started a thread on the corsair forums and was helped out greatly but RAMGUY there. :)

Customer service much?

Now the down side of such a great customer support is, many unscrupulous folks might take undue advantage of it by sending RMA requests by fiddling with the power switch of the PSU and chassis.

Apparently that is the first thing which came to my mind when I read the seed post. I think with USB rubber caps, also people in India went ape.

Anyways, it is a great gesture. Service like this is probably a normal standard in the US. Experiencing similar mannerisms in India is shocking to us all. :)

this is music to my ears.i plan to upgrade my zebronics fantasy to a corsair carbide when it releases in india.

Wow that's pretty awesome! Whole cabinet for a bad power button!

P.S. - Can I have your old cabinet? :P

It is truly awesome...i was initially expecting just the replacement I/O ports and power switch assembly

Very true gannu....everything has its ups and downs. Honestly i hope corsair doesnt get taken for a ride. They are one of the best if not the best companies, not only in tech but even otherwise whom i have had to deal with. I was planning a vertex3 but now just cause of their stellar service i am leaning towards a force 3 drive even if it means a small decrease in performance. At least i know they have my nack :)

Given that in the states this might be a given gesture but shipping it all the way to India at their expensive is something i was not expecting. I even asked the guy to save money and see if he could arrange a replacement piece locally so that they could save money but kelvin thought that it would make things take longer and it would be fastest to ship me a piece.
Guys i am honestly very impressed by their response and it is things like this that make them retain customers for life. I know for a fact that i will be a loyal fanboy of theirs for life even at a price premium, if if their are better products in the market all for the simple fact that in the long run, small things like this make all the difference :)

Amazing service ! Really hope people don't take advantage of this and Corsair starts denying even the genuine RMA queries .

Congrats OP. Keep it up Corsair!!

oh.. wow. I am also waiting for Carbide 500R to be released. Hope it comes within 10K somehow. But looks a bit doubtful. Anyway, if you manage to get the cabbie in India, please pm me and let me from where u got it.

BTW , How much does a 600T retail for ? I am pretty much in love with it except for the mesh on front and top !
