Now is the ripe time to take back PoK. It is the biggest excuse for Pak to train terrorist elements in that geography and claim "non-state actors" BS

Even Afghanistan and Baloch rebels are dependant on us now and will do our bidding.

It is ain't that simple no matter how much pur politicians keep saying getting POK is long road and miracle is needed.

No, its not. First turn them. Start with elections and let them elect whoever and then they can give speeches in parliament.

PoK is in complete control of the Pak army. Nothing can be done inside apart from the usual intelligence gathering.

The people there are open to manipulation. A number of expatriate commentators have appeared on Indian channels for some time now. They just need to see how much better their brethren across the border live.

The way you do it is politically. What can the Pak army do then? Nothing

Hold elections for PO J&K. The seats have been empty since independence.

We have to be prepared for much bigger battles (like China skirmish). PoK is a worthy engagement for the Army instead of dealing with the Pak strategy of "death by 1000 cuts". It would also be a chance to identify sleeper cells within the country and make sure of our actual defence preparedness instead of paper stats.

Hehe no chance. But China will send supplies to their 'iron brother'.

Paks are short on artillery shells after selling to Ukraine even Israel. When we fire at them in depth from the LoC, 50km in what are they going to do.
 
Why cant we chase down those terrorist and kill them like how US did to Osama, they should've never left the country in one piece. The people who lost their loved ones would sleep in peace at once, the country owes them that much.

Because Pakistanis would have not stopped USA to carry out mission inside their land.

When US had decided to go after Afghanistan for hunting osama...the then US Defence secretary had called Gen.Musharraf and told him.." support us in this war or we will bomb you to stone age" these are the words he told directly to Musharraf and he even spoke about it in his book iirc.

Beside US spend hundreds of billions almost $1 trillion on chasing that idiot. Can India afford that?

Osama is a leader of the group though, so a lot more resources needed. In our case, these 4 terrorist are probably low level nutjobs who got lucky, we should work with USA in this regard and get them one way or the other.
