I think their ego problem hurt them after they thought they won the match. They thought the bowling part of the match was a piece of cake lawl.

which tells us that Pakistani bowling was not outstanding but the Indian batting was pathetic...

k..thats a bit exaggerated considering we don the game :P

Bowling is not abt people just hitting wickets. Theres lot more...

Btw the match is declared a tie, but India get the 2 points frm this stage.

It was India's match until India conceded 38 runs in 12 balls before the tension got to Misbah in the last 2 ...did anyone notice his bat wobble in his hands in both the balls(last 2) :P. Sreesanth was clever too, he fired in 2 short balls when every1 expected yorkers.
 
Pakis did the blunder by assigning the Regular Fast bowlers to bowl first..
they need a proper run up to get into a rhythm and they just cudnt get themselves set with a shortened run up..

India on the other hand had sent in the slower bowlers to get the job done..
Both Pathan and SreeSanth were the last two ..

This i believe was the key difference there..
But shocking is the margin by which the Pakis missed the stumps.. cudnt help but think ki they all had been bribed.. :P

They NEVER write abt indian achievements.. NEVER
be it India beating England or even Alaska ..

Bloody idiots.. call themselves as Journalists...
 
Guys relax...Lot of sites update the next day when a match finishes past 1am...No excuse but they will report it by evening in a small way Im sure....
 
dude.. i visit that site pretty regularly .. and i have seen the trend.. esp one of them is absolutely stubborn ..

it doesnt hurt me one bit .. i consider very small population of Pak as literate enuf to be handling international affairs wisely .. but sch agencies shd be front runners in propagating sensible attitude..
 
i didn't watch the match, but the whole bowl-out thing, i think is stupid...doesn't make any sense :S ... bah whatever india won :D !

and since u don't agree with me on that..i guess u believe that the Indian batting yesterday was awesome. even if its not just abt hitting wickets, sometimes it helps to keep things simple and straight. :ohyeah:

well yeah...but that Friday Logic works only according to IST/PST and not Durban time. I've seen teams like SA and Aussies beat the heat out of the Pakistani teams on Fridays. Its only teams like India that manages to lose to Pakistan on Fridays more often. :bleh:

and abt the bowl-out...paki's thought short run up would help...and they thought wrong.
 
bowl-out is a cool idea for a tie-breaker but its needless during group stages where teams are looking to score points only. imo, it should have been used only during semi-finals and finals.

nevertheless, it was brilliant as India won the match. Had Pakistan won it, I'd have had a few more bad things to say regarding bowl-out. :lol:

I did sense ur sarcasm, but I had to counter your smart comment coz I thought that Paki actually bowled well...Also the conditions were tough...Cant blame the Indian batsmen too much...They were not brilliant...neither were they silly...
 
the pakis didnt run up enough to make sure they didnt bowl a noball, thats when things went helter skelter , how can a fast bowler with such a huge run up bowl accurately by walking 4 steps , eh dumb or wth
