Indian contest for rupee symbol

It is sad to hear from elders like in 1970 ,I bought a xyz for 1 rupee ,and now it is 50rupees. :(

Government ,if Possible change from Rupee to Some Other system with Good Value.Don't want to see rupee ending like as in yen :P
 
@prakashan It's just a symbol, no change in rupee's value. :)

given the trend of Indians to brainlessly follow anything american, i wudnt be surprised if this is what the end winner will be like

since we have Gandhiji on the Indian notes :P and with all the hype about Gandhi's specs and belongings being auctioned.

i came up with something for the Rupee symbol :P
