With no Sachin, Gambhir, Yuvraj, Sehwag, Zaheer, Harbhajan and now Ishant, how do you think is India going to go through this tournament?

The current batting order seems fine but the bowlers are at all time low side.

Fortunately even Hayden said today that with current line up India have no chance retaining the cup and on top of that they may even find it hard to survive in the tournament.
Their only strength is batting and that too the top 5 order. And again they'll have to score 300+ runs to actually be in the game. Sounds pretty impossible...

MSD is still trying to fix issues and this has been going on now since past 2 odd yrs.
Moreover he made a mistake by backing our current lazy useless coach.

Hows all this gonna cost India or still there's a chance for miracle or some luck factor??

I want South Africa to win this time, they kinda deserve it going by their consistent performance.
Indian team is filled with Dhoni and his chamchas like Jadeja, Ashwin, etc who basically are medium pacers and can't even spin a crazy ball on a pitch coated with rubber.

Not to mention bowlers who need 6 months of rest after bowling 6 overs, apart from that they give stupid excuses like they've been away from home for a long time, etc for their bad performance. F**ckers are put up in 5 star hotels and are paid handsomely for playing abroad and still these spoilt kids have the audacity to complain, never heard this bs reason from our soldiers who spend months away from their families at the borders with barely any facilities.
I hope they get knocked out in the first round so that things get shaken up, the current team is only capable of pwning minnows. Power hungry people in the BCCI and the stupid IPL is killing the sport.

You just said what i had in mind!!! I support SA this time! they truly deserve it, even if India makes it to final... SA all the way!

Actually there is a rather sordid tale of a guy called Ashish Nehra -- another of the injured (a) lot. He once refused to play a Ranji match because ...his body won't hold up and wanted to save his energy to play for India. So basically he did not want to shape up or be match practiced form or even show if he still had the skills but wanted entry into the team. We all know how that went. So I wonder, aside from the obvious "what has Ishant Sharma done to play for so long" how many first class matches does he play "improving" skills when not on international duty (example there is a long break coming up -- if not for IPL).
 
Don't see india crossing group stage if they play like they have been for the last 1 month or so.
Dhawan playing like he is new to cricket. Kohli distracted.

Sad fact is rohit sharma has to bail india out nowadays.

Bowlers are ineffective. Lack of quality all rounders, unlike other teams.
 
India have a pretty good chance of making it to the semis, imo. The other teams aren't all that great on paper either, save Australia & S. Africa. NZ & Pak could prove to be tough to beat. So could we.

Congos India!!:cool: Very well done in their first Hi pressure match. If we bat this way and field too then we can make it happen in any situation.:rolleyes:
