^ I have Prestige PIC 1.0 V2 in my place quite good using it for 8 mths no prob till now but consumes hell lot of power dude !!

I am using Prestige PIC 2.0 since past 1 month, and it has good build quality and easy to use touch interface. Not so sure about the exact power consumption, but did not notice any substantial change in daily units consumed - before and after I started using it. It has an inbuilt indicator for getting power consumed, and it seems to be pretty low. But you can't be sure with that, so I manually checked my meter readings for past few weeks. But there seems to be negligible power consumption for roughly 30 minutes of daily usage.

hmm thats the second reccomendation for the product

it costs 2995 from flipkart? is the price correct cause i have no idea about the prices of induction cookers :S

Been using the Bajaj induction cooker for close to a year without any problems.. Not sure about the power consumption though. I don't pay my power bills.. :P

Been using Prestige Pic 2.0 for the last 8 months. Works brilliantly and no major changes in power consumption. Hardly a difference of 100-200 bucks with around 2 - 2 and a half hours of daily use.

@alekhkhanna, Good to hear that about PIC 2.0 power consumption. I am happy that I chose that model.

@ubergeek, price is correct on flipkart. When I bought, it was 2.7K. MRP is about 4.5K. You may also go for PIC 6.0 which is a bit cheaper, but is almost similar to PIC 2.0. The only extra thing that PIC 2.0 has is the anti-skid ring.

we have a bajaj one at home. Great for boiling water, milk, maggi, etc. We don't use it for dosa or chapati's. I guess it is due to the limited no. Of compatible tavas. Unfortunately I could never get the hang of how to use it, though mom uses it proficiently. .
